Private/Tourist bus sector is a major employment sector in kerala which provides large number of jobs to middle class people. As each bus requires a 3 man crew on a regular basis and support crew a large volume of employees depend on this sector for their lively hood. The main allied industries are workshops and repair shops for these busses, spare parts, painting, designers, upholstery works, automobile electricians and many others.
Due to pandemic related travel restrictions transport sector as a whole is having a downwind. This has to be addressed immediately and revival measures to resuscitate this industry by availing necessary financial measures and incentives.
Studies has to be done to understand the problems faced by the sector and the demands of the people related to this sector. An in-depth study of this can give insights to the requirements for the revival of the sectors.
The studies can be conducted by students by interviewing the concerned people, collecting data from RTO offices, from the general public and so on.
It can also be focused on a particular area, either private or tourist and even on allied industries.

പകർച്ചവ്യാധിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട യാത്രാ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ കാരണം ഗതാഗത മേഖല മൊത്തത്തിൽ തകർച്ചയിലാണ്. ഇത് ഉടനടി പരിഹരിക്കുകയും ആവശ്യമായ സാമ്പത്തിക നടപടികളും പ്രോത്സാഹനങ്ങളും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തി ഈ വ്യവസായത്തെ പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള പുനരുജ്ജീവന നടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും വേണം.
