Marketing
One of the most important aspects of a business is
marketing. Reaching out to customers and selling your products whether it is a
toothbrush or a multimillion car making plant requires marketing research. The
feasibility of your new product or service have to reach your target
customers/consumers. To effectively do that, you need to know what customers
need and get their inputs and comments. It also includes their commendations
and references and reviews of your product.
Marketing research can be conducted by a third-party
company, a group of people or volunteers, or an in-house team of marketing
research. In order to accomplish this, various tools like surveys, interviews,
product testing and focus group representatives can all be utilized. Test volunteers
can be motivated also by providing small incentives, product samples and
prototypes or even stipend. This marketing research is quite important if you
are considering a new product or service to reach more people.
In these projects consider yourselves as the company
itself or marketing research team and need to improve the performance of one of
your products or all of them and collect data and analyze them so that you can
do your best. Let this one be a practice for one of your future jobs.
Do this in a sense that you can show it up to some
company and say that I have done this and I can do a better job if I have a
dedicated team so that the impression you make can earn a job for you.
